To the Wilson Family and the Community of Tracy,
As the one-year anniversary passes since the bullying incident involving four teenagers and one victim in the Central Park bathroom, many members of the Tracy community continue to carry deep concerns, unanswered questions, and frustration over how the matter was handled.
This anniversary stands as a painful reminder not only of the harm caused by bullying, but also of the lasting damage that can occur when families and citizens believe justice has been ignored or minimized by those in positions of authority.
Many residents continue to question the actions of the City of Tracy, the Tracy Police Department, and Police Chief Jason Lichty regarding the handling of the incident. Allegations of favoritism, corruption, lack of transparency, and failures in police accountability have left some community members feeling that the system protected certain individuals rather than pursuing fairness and truth. Public trust is damaged when citizens believe misconduct or serious concerns are swept aside instead of addressed openly and honestly.
Police accountability exists to ensure that every family, regardless of status or influence, receives equal treatment under the law. Communities rely on law enforcement not only to enforce rules, but to uphold integrity, transparency, and public confidence. When those principles are called into question, the effects can echo far beyond a single incident.
We hope the Wilson family will someday receive the justice, accountability, and peace they deserve. We also hope the City of Tracy, Minnesota takes this opportunity to reflect on the concerns voiced by its citizens and commit to restoring trust through openness, accountability, and meaningful reform where necessary.
No young person should endure bullying without support. No family should feel unheard when seeking justice. And no community can move forward without honest examination of its institutions and leadership.
Our thoughts remain with the Wilson family and with all individuals who have experienced bullying, intimidation, or a sense of abandonment by the systems meant to protect them.
Sincerely
The Tracy MN Corruption website team
