Thank You for the Support

Over the past couple weeks, we have been overwhelmed by the amount of support, emails, phone calls, pictures, recordings, and information that citizens have trusted us with. To everyone who has reached out to the Tracy Minnesota Accountability & Corruption Team, thank you.

Many of you have shared your personal experiences involving issues within the City of Tracy. Others have quietly provided photos, documents, recordings, and valuable information that help us better understand what is happening in our community. We do not take that trust lightly. We have some very interesting blogs coming up soon and we have some needing more intel.

Building a library of information, organizing evidence, reviewing recordings, verifying, and categorizing reports is not an easy task. The amount of material we have already received from concerned citizens is substantial, and we continue working through it with the victims to hold those accountable.

I personally have been recording any phone calls or interactions with any City official for years. From calls with Jeff Carpenter when he was the EDA Director, Municipal Department head Shane Daniels and City officials in general. Accountability in the City of Tracy has been lacking for years. Now is the time to hold those accountable.

One of the biggest challenges we face is helping victims and concerned citizens feel comfortable enough to tell their stories publicly. We understand that many people fear retaliation, criticism, or being singled out for speaking up. Those concerns are real, and we respect the courage it takes to come forward. I myself have been very open about my concerns and interactions with City Officials. If I can do it, so can you in your own time.

Our hope is that as this movement grows, Tracy becomes a more transparent, accountable, and responsive community. We want those who feel alone to know that they are not alone. More citizens are reaching out every day, and together we can continue pushing for openness, accountability, and positive change.

To everyone who has sent an email, made a phone call, shared a photo, provided information, or simply offered words of encouragement—thank you. Your support during these first couple weeks has meant more than you know.

We will continue reviewing information and deciding what stories to cover next. As always, if you have information to share or simply want to talk, we are just an email or phone call away.

Stay strong, stay informed, and thank you for standing with us.
